Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week (May 9th - 15th).

As this year’s theme is loneliness, we share some tips and advice that could help people cope with loneliness and improve their mental health, put together by the team at the
Mental Health Foundation.
  • Try to do some enjoyable things that will keep you busy
  • Try to do things that stimulate your mind
  • Think about doing a physical activity
  • Try to engage with the people you meet in your daily life
  • Find people that ‘get you’
  • Spend time with pets
  • Try to use social media in a positive way
  • Talking therapies can help
At MOORE Insight, we recognise that mental health issues can strike at any time and affect people from all walks of life, including our team.

This is why we have been taking steps to provide the support that our team needs to cope with mental health, as much as with physical health.

Mental Health First Aid

We are proud to have two MHFA England trained Mental Health First Aiders at MOORE Insight.

Laura and Alice are always available to our team to talk about a mental health issue and provide support to the team.

Vitality Wellbeing Programme

Vitality’s core purpose is to Make People Healthier, that’s why we’re happy to offer thiswellbeing programme to our team.

Vitality offers a variety of sessions, among other benefits, that raise important mental health-related issues and offer support to the audience.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

All of our employees have now access to an Employee Assistance Programme. An EAP is a confidential employee benefit designed to help our team deal with personal and professional problems that could be affecting their home life or work life, health and general wellbeing.
