INCONCERT GOES LIVE AT LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM

MOORE Insight are pleased to announce that their InConcert Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, bringing the best public sector solutions together for Finance, HR, Payroll and Planning is now live at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, following a 16-month implementation. It is the first, integrated best of breed Finance and HR Payroll solution for core ERP scope.

Councillor Dominic Twomey, Barking and Dagenham Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Growth said:

“The go live of iTrent from MHR International and Advanced E5 is a tremendous achievement. We knew in December 2020, when we awarded the contact for these new systems that we had an ambitious programme. I really believe that we now have a modern platform to match our core ambitions and we can build on what we have implemented to really change the way we work for the better.”

MOORE Insight developed the solution, in association with leaders at
MHR InternationalandAdvancedto meet existing demands in the public sector market, where many organisations  face the challenge of budgetary constraints and enterprise-level solutions that do not always meet the needs of the customer.

As a traditionally systems agnostic consultancy, MOORE Insight were selected by Barking and Dagenham to work on their back-office transformation programme.

Peter Morley, Founding Director at MOORE Insight and a thought leader for many public bodies over the last 30 years, said:

“What sets us apart is that we know the systems market, we know the intricacies and challenges of public sector organisations, including their regulatory framework and most of all, we know how important efficiencies are to processes and cost.

"We brought together two market-leaders in the UK government software market, provided the wrap-around support for the whole implementation including data migration, assurance and technical expertise.

"We have been heavily involved in central and local government for more than 30 years. Our team are experienced business practitioners first and foremost rather than technicians and understand the business outcomes the systems must achieve.”

Prior to commencement of the project, Councillor Dominic Twomey underlined that how important it is for the council to have a ‘’well-run organisation which enables us to improve outcomes for all our residents.”

InConcert is delivering a 10-year programme with Barking and Dagenham including on-going support.

After the contract was awarded, Councillor Twomey added:

“MOORE Insight’s InConcert proposal offered this capability alongside great value by bringing together the Advanced Financials Cloud and MHR solutions, complemented by their own expertise in delivering end user focused improvements and system enhancements aimed at achieving benefits and savings to the council.”

MOORE Insight, strategic partner on the transformation programme for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham said:

“From the initial engagement with LBBD it was clear that they had an ambitious goal. To achieve significant business improvement across the corporate functions; finance, HR, procurement and payroll; in a quick turnaround, and in so doing, reduce cost and improve the user experience. MOORE Insight are delighted to be a key part of this successful journey with LBBD, helping achieve these goals, building on the recent go live and supporting an ongoing continuous improvement agenda.”
